“2022 MTV VMAs” announced an additional list of this year’s award candidates on the MTV official website and SNS on August 19 (local time). Nominated for ‘Best K-Pop’, ‘Best Choreography’, ‘Best Visual Effects’, ‘Best Metaverse Performance’ BTS has been nominated for two additional categories: ‘Group Of The Year’ and ‘Song Of Summer’.
“Left And Right (feat. Jung Kook of BTS)”, released on June 24th, was nominated for the award. BTS was named as a candidate for the “Best K-POP” category with the lead song “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” of the new album “Proof”, and released “Permission to Come” in July 2021 last year.
