Jermell Charlo vs Brian Castano 2: Rematch a long-awaited
Charlo vs Castano: The two boxers had already met in July 2020 in a match that ended with a tie verdict that had sparked much controversy.
Although, in fact, the count of hits scored had been in Charlo’s favor, 173 to 151, it seemed clear that Castano had had a clear advantage in terms of power and effectiveness, having put his opponent in serious difficulty, especially in the second part of the match.
The final verdict of a draw seemed rather generous towards Jermell Charlo with the team of Castano who had immediately asked for a rematch, now managing to get it, two years later.
Although the match has yet to be officially announced, AXS.com has already announced the pre-sale of tickets, which will begin on February 10th, for what is expected to be a “Showtime Championship Boxing” event televised without Pay per View.
